Let me say only that this is a VERY accurate reading of the film:

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/48430Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-90215403975034871092011-02-08T21:50:30.680-08:002011-02-08T21:50:30.680-08:00Interesting, thanks for the heads up, Anonymous!Interesting, thanks for the heads up, Anonymous! The Infernal Mr Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05652697037583650402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-6493001187391341762011-02-08T16:54:47.544-08:002011-02-08T16:54:47.544-08:00There are a lot of weird things in Rango, and yes,...There are a lot of weird things in Rango, and yes, that includes science fiction references (spot the Star Trek one if you can...) and supernatural elements. Can't say no more, but I figure you guys won't be disappointed...

It opens on March 4, BTW.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-64389271499979175012010-12-21T04:43:02.138-08:002010-12-21T04:43:02.138-08:00You could be right, Paul. Sometimes I do tend to stretch the definition a bit ;)

Ash - It could also be that Ash, regardless I'm looking forward to seeing it too :D

Cory - It certainly does :DThe Infernal Mr Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05652697037583650402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-11422944291153686132010-12-20T07:20:34.385-08:002010-12-20T07:20:34.385-08:00I dunno', looked pretty weird to me ^_^I dunno', looked pretty weird to me ^_^Cory Grosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12141983255020503557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-3735135521084702862010-12-15T10:12:54.496-08:002010-12-15T10:12:54.496-08:00I was wondering the same thing when I saw this yes...I was wondering the same thing when I saw this yesterday. Perhaps it's merely weird from a base perspective. Being weird as "different" from a normal western and including the comedic elements.

Still, I'll probably see it.Ashehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07114707847759001522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761231297093450737.post-63733355825599268322010-12-14T21:26:55.084-08:002010-12-14T21:26:55.084-08:00I wouldn't classify this as a Weird Western Ma...I wouldn't classify this as a Weird Western Mark unless it has supernatural or science fiction elements. Comedy Westerns (even those featuring strange or scary animals) aren't "weird". Otherwise I'd have featured every animated cartoon set in the Old West in my book.:)
This film looks fun though. And if it does contain a supernatural sequence then we can call it a Weird Western. I kind of hope we can because I like this trailer.Paul Greenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13087250570346996589noreply@blogger.com
